Girl Scouts
The CLC Girl Scouts are officially known as Girl Scout Troop 1229 and are part of the Roosevelt Girl Scout Association. There is a progression from Daisies to Brownies, Girl Scouts to Cadets. Our Girl Scouts are involved in activities designed to achieve the various Girl Scout Badges. The CLC Girl Scouts are involved in providing school and community service.
The girls of Troop 1229 are working together to create and send care packages to the troops in Afghanistan and Iraq. Before starting the project they heard from Mary Hodges whose sister is serving in Iraq.
